What Horses Did For Me...

I’ve been horse-crazed girl from the time I could walk. I had the privilege of being able to trail ride with my uncle as well as ride in summer camp and in college – learning how to jump and get dumped and find my way back into the tack. All great life lessons! Yet it wasn’t until I began training with Natural Lifemanship that I discovered how horses have this incredible ability to be present in the moment. It is all about how God designed their survival instinct and herd dynamics. Through seeking to build safe and trusting connections with horses I get to partner with, I recognized that I was stuck in my own kind of survival mode.

God used my horse partners to teach me that I had to become grounded in my mind and body, learning how to breathe deeply, release anxiety and stress, and trust the future into His hands. Yes, through pursuing connected horsemanship, I developed a new approach to humanship that enabled me to start living, loving, and thriving in the moment.
