The Retreat You Need

From Burnout to Balance is a one-day equine retreat where high-achieving women step off the treadmill and reconnect to themselves — with the help of horses.

This isn’t a seminar on time management, and it isn’t one more thing to optimize. It’s experiential, body-based work led by a doctoral-level clinician, in a setting designed to let your nervous system finally exhale.

Horses live the way burnout has taught you to forget: present, aware, unhurried, honest about what they need. They don’t reward performance. They respond to you — and that turns out to be exactly the medicine you need.

You’ll spend the day on a peaceful 52-acre ranch in Wernersville, in a small group of women who understand the particular weight you carry. No horse experience needed. Nothing to prove. Just space to do the work that actually moves the needle.

During this Retreat, You Will:

✓   Name what burnout has actually taken — not just the exhaustion, but the lost sense of who you are underneath the role. Horses meet you without your title attached, and that honesty is where the work begins.

✓   Learn to regulate, not just push through — practical, body-based grounding skills you can carry into a hard meeting, a full inbox, or a long week. Horses are masters of returning to calm; they make excellent teachers.

✓   Reconnect to your own signals — high-achievers get very good at overriding their own limits. You’ll practice noticing what you feel and need again, with a partner who responds the moment you do.

✓   Set boundaries without guilt — explore where you’ve been over-functioning and what it would mean to lead your life with the same clarity you bring to your work.

✓   Rest — actually rest — and remember that your worth was never tied to your output. A day of presence, fresh air, gentle horses, and women who get it.

Danielle brings clinical depth and a grounded, down-to-earth presence to every retreat — she will challenge you honestly and hold the space gently, both at once. Her facilitation is what sets this day apart: this is not a workshop run by an enthusiast, it’s evidence-based therapeutic work guided by a professional who knows exactly what she’s doing.
