Noble was generously donated to Take Heart on October 31, 2015, to become a healing horse, and has fit in since day one! He was the second Take Heart therapy horse. His donors contacted Meagan to ask about donating him, although Irene had never heard of Take Heart, God brought Take Heart to her attention three times – in a single day! Noble is personable and playful, always searching pockets for treats. We found out why when his donors Bill & Irene Briner visited for the first time, with Bill wearing a cargo jacket with every pocket filled with carrots (Noble is so loved!)! We joke that Noble has two personalities – Noble and Nibble.

In his past, Noble has done everything from pulling carts to jumping to dressage, and still loves a good trail ride. He may try to gallop up the hill! Noble has the most glorious thick mane for braiding, and his puppy-dog nature earns him fast friends. He has a protective presence that makes people feel safe, and often creates a special bond with clients who have experienced abuse. Noble will stand with clients with trauma and yawn and breathe, encouraging them to breathe and stay present. Once, he bee-lined across field 4 completely of his own accord, just to stand with a client as she shared her story of trauma.

In June 2021, Noble was awarded a trophy from CASA of Berks County for being an outstanding influence into the lives of children. His donors Bill and Irene were able to make it to his awards ceremony! Noble’s word from God is “Protector.”
